Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analyses for potential real estate acquisitions, developments, and dispositions across diverse asset classes (e.g., multi-family, office, industrial, retail).
- Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks within target markets.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
- Assist in due diligence processes, including coordinating with legal, accounting, and third-party consultants to ensure thorough property analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex pro forma models, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions.
- Support the acquisition team in deal sourcing, negotiation, and closing processes.
- Monitor portfolio performance, track key metrics, and provide strategic recommendations for asset management and value optimization.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in real estate investment analysis, private equity, or investment banking with a focus on real estate.
- Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling (Excel) and advanced analytical techniques.
- Strong understanding of real estate capital markets, valuation methodologies, and investment structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience with real estate specific software (e.g., Argus Enterprise) is highly desirable.
