Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced research experiments in material science and energy systems
- Lead cross-functional prototyping cycles from concept to validation
- Analyze complex datasets using Python/MATLAB to drive innovation decisions
- Collaborate with patent attorneys to protect intellectual property
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals

Qualifications
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- 5+ years of industry R&D experience with hardware innovation
- Expertise in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) and lab instrumentation
- Proven track record of translating research into commercial products
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Experience with DOE methodologies and statistical analysis
