In this role, you won't just find bugs; you will build the automated frameworks that prevent them. You will work side-by-side with developers and product managers to define test strategies and maintain the highest standards of quality for our global user base.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define test plans and edge-case scenarios early in the SDLC.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing as necessary for new feature explorations and complex workflows.
- Lead and mentor junior QA team members on automation best practices and testing methodologies.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
- Conduct detailed root-cause analysis for defects and implement proactive testing solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automated testing.
- Proven expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation (SQL).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for quality throughout the engineering organization.
