Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD pipelines
- Champion quality metrics through JIRA and TestRail dashboards
- Investigate root causes of defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams during sprint planning
- Conduct code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation leadership
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
