Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Drive quality metrics analysis and reporting using JIRA/TestRail dashboards
- Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies through sprint planning and retrospectives
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing tools
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in leadership/mentorship roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in SQL, API testing (Postman, RestAssured), and performance testing tools
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker)
- Demonstrated success in improving defect detection rates by 40%+
