Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and implement preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Stay current with industry trends to enhance testing methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with proven expertise in automation frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack)
- Deep understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience mentoring QA engineers and driving process improvements
