Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API and performance testing initiatives for microservices architecture
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and security testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement in testing processes
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Drive defect management using JIRA and implement test coverage metrics
- Collaborate with product teams to define quality KPIs and SLAs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test script development
- Strong background in RESTful API testing and Postman/Newman
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
- Demonstrated success in scaling testing for high-traffic applications
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
