Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to enhance testing efficiency
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to integrate quality checks into development workflow
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive preventive actions
- Maintain test documentation and metrics for continuous improvement
- Champion quality culture through cross-functional Agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Proficiency in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent quality assurance certification preferred
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and defect tracking systems
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
