Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and purchasing activities for both direct materials and indirect spend categories.
- Negotiate high-value, complex master service agreements (MSAs) to optimize cost, quality, lead times, and payment terms.
- Establish and monitor KPI-driven vendor management systems to proactively mitigate global supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and logistics departments to align purchasing initiatives with product roadmaps and budget parameters.
- Evaluate market indices and geopolitical factors to forecast pricing trends and secure volume-based buying hedges.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging advanced ERP (SAP/Oracle) reporting to uncover cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering (MBA or CPM/CPSM certification preferred).
- 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate procurement, purchasing, or global sourcing.
- Demonstrated experience managing an annual direct/indirect spend portfolio of at least $20 Million.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract drafting skills, with a keen eye for risk management and commercial compliance.
- Advanced analytical capability, specifically with SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs), and enterprise ERP workflows.
- Outstanding executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
