Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to support organizational growth.
- Negotiate complex vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Operations to align procurement with production requirements.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial requisition to final delivery and payment processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of negotiating multi-million dollar contracts with international suppliers.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
