Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from requisition to final delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to maximize cost savings and improve profit margins.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and alternative vendors.
- Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations, scorecards, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track orders, analyze spend data, and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
