Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery and invoice reconciliation.
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to forecast costs and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance) to align purchasing with production schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a focus on cost reduction and process improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Relevant degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
