Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze pricing trends to secure the best possible terms from vendors.
- Manage the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, from negotiation to contract renewal and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance) to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement lean purchasing processes to reduce operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on purchasing metrics, forecasts, and budget variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
