Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with key international and domestic suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to streamline purchasing requirements.
- Implement data-driven procurement processes to improve inventory turnover and vendor performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of junior buyers and procurement specialists.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing significant spend budgets and reducing total cost of ownership.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
