Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to mitigate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Mentor and lead a team of junior buyers to foster professional development and high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within the manufacturing industry.
- Expert-level knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement software suites.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations exceeding $5M in annual spend.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategies.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
