Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for 15+ key categories, reducing costs by 10-15% annually
- Lead supplier negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance
- Manage vendor performance metrics, conducting quarterly reviews and implementing improvement plans
- Drive sustainability initiatives by tracking ESG metrics and implementing circular economy principles
- Oversee procurement budget allocation and spend analysis, providing actionable insights to leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams in new product launch sourcing, ensuring timely vendor qualification
- Implement procurement technology upgrades, including e-sourcing platforms and AI-driven analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and procurement analytics tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
