Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing 15-20% cost reduction targets
- Implement and optimize ERP procurement systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Manage $50M+ annual procurement budget with zero tolerance for compliance breaches
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ESG-focused supplier scorecards
- Mentor 4-person purchasing team using data-driven KPIs
- Analyze market trends and forecast commodity risks
- Lead cross-functional projects with R&D and Operations teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ years in leadership
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier diversity
- Advanced proficiency in procurement analytics tools (Coupa, Jaggaer)
- Proven track record of achieving cost reduction targets
- Exceptional negotiation skills with complex stakeholder management
- Experience implementing procurement transformation projects
