Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply continuity.
- Negotiate master service agreements and long-term contracts with key strategic suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate financial risks and capitalize on savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production departments to align purchasing activities with manufacturing demands.
- Lead vendor performance management programs, including audits, KPIs, and relationship improvement initiatives.
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical procurement standards.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement professionals to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPSM certification preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level negotiation skills with a proven track record of significant cost reduction.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred) and advanced data analytics.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, customs, and international supply chain regulations.
