In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational success, managing high-value contracts and ensuring seamless inventory flow across our North American facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve cost-savings targets.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain relationships, including contract negotiations and performance audits.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely material procurement for manufacturing cycles.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, quality compliance, and vendor scorecards.
- Implement lean purchasing initiatives to reduce lead times and inventory carrying costs.
- Utilize ERP software to maintain accurate purchasing data and forecasting reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of successful high-value contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in modern ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of inventory management and logistics best practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
