Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to minimize costs and maximize supply chain efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Monitor global market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate risks and capitalize on purchasing opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Manage vendor performance through rigorous KPIs, audits, and periodic business reviews.
- Oversee departmental budget and optimize inventory management systems.
- Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-savings initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.
