Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast material requirements and pricing fluctuations.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to optimize product life cycle management.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced data analytics software.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven history of managing multi-million dollar vendor contracts.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, import/export regulations, and inventory management.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
