Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end negotiation processes for raw materials and component sourcing.
- Conduct deep-dive vendor performance audits and maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to align procurement activities with manufacturing forecasts.
- Oversee inventory procurement budgets and ensure strict compliance with corporate financial standards.
- Mentor a team of junior buyers and procurement analysts to drive departmental excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Finance (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings through vendor contract negotiations.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex global supply market data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP is highly desirable.
