Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
- Manage vendor relationships and performance metrics using SAP Ariba
- Analyze market trends and data to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Oversee compliance with procurement policies and sustainability standards
- Collaborate with logistics and finance teams on inventory optimization
- Mentor junior purchasing professionals and implement training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing/distribution
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement tools
- Proven track record of achieving 10-15% cost savings annually
- Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong analytical abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Experience managing international supplier networks
