Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize cost and supply chain reliability.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, including RFPs, supplier evaluation, and vendor performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Logistics, Finance) to align purchasing activities with production timelines.
- Implement data-driven procurement solutions to enhance inventory turnover and reduce operational overhead.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or category management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing significant spend portfolios and achieving double-digit cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain high-level vendor relationships.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or APICS) is highly desired.
- Exceptional analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
