Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resiliency.
- Negotiate complex contracts with key vendors to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and anticipate volatility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to align purchasing efforts with project requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, from requisition and RFQ management to final PO fulfillment.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Implement and maintain rigorous procurement compliance and audit protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-value vendor relationships and complex negotiations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and international procurement regulations.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
