Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to achieve cost-reduction targets.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from RFP/RFQ to contract negotiation and final fulfillment.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with high-value global suppliers to ensure supply chain resiliency.
- Analyze market trends and supply data to provide actionable insights for long-term inventory planning.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor vendor performance metrics, conducting regular business reviews and quality audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Finance, and Production to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing high-value multi-million dollar contracts.
- Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools to support executive-level decision making.
