Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize costs and improve supply chain resilience.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with vendors to secure favorable conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of purchasing officers and analysts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- Deep understanding of procurement cycles, vendor management, and contract law.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive cost savings.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
