Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs while ensuring supply chain continuity.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust purchasing tactics and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with manufacturing timelines.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct audits to maintain strict quality and compliance standards.
- Mentor and coach procurement staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement analytics software.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or APICS CSCP is highly desirable.
