Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, from RFP/RFQ development to contract negotiation and final vendor selection.
- Maintain and cultivate high-level relationships with global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to provide actionable intelligence for budget forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to reduce lead times and operational overhead.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and lead corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced analytical tools (Excel, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
- CPSM or CPIM certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
