Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies for raw materials and components.
- Negotiate high-stakes vendor contracts to optimize cost-savings, lead times, and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Finance, and Production to align sourcing with manufacturing goals.
- Manage ERP data integrity and oversee end-to-end purchasing workflows.
- Maintain compliance with all internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and multi-million dollar budget management.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing high-performing teams.
- CPSM or APICS certification is highly regarded.
