Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply continuity.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and service level agreements.
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, from requisition to final delivery and payment processing.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing procurement team to exceed departmental KPIs and savings targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, Engineering, and Operations to align procurement goals with company objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust supplier audit programs to ensure compliance with quality and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings through strategic vendor management.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
- CPSM or APICS certification is considered a strong competitive advantage.
