Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct rigorous supplier performance analysis and manage the vendor onboarding process.
- Lead a team of purchasing analysts, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure operational continuity.
- Analyze cost structures and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (CIPS qualification is a plus).
- Proven track record of 5+ years in a senior purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful contract management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
