Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery, ensuring 100% on-time fulfillment.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs and improve quality without compromising service levels.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value vendors, conducting performance reviews and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to forecast needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to align purchasing activities with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior buyers and procurement coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multimillion-dollar budgets and negotiating complex contracts.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
