Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing cost savings of 15-25% annually
- Implement and manage ERP-based procurement systems (SAP/Ariba preferred)
- Analyze market trends and data to optimize supply chain resilience
- Oversee contract management ensuring compliance and risk mitigation
- Mentor a team of 5 purchasing specialists
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on capital expenditure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing/retail
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost analysis
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software and data analytics tools
- Proven track record of reducing total procurement costs
- Strong negotiation skills with $10M+ contract experience
- Ability to manage complex global supply chains
