Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support business objectives and reduce operational costs.
- Negotiate favorable contracts and terms with existing and new suppliers to maximize value and ensure quality.
- Conduct rigorous market research and trend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, from requisition and sourcing to delivery and invoice reconciliation.
- Manage a high-volume inventory of raw materials and finished goods to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior buyers and procurement analysts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement software.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
