Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and MRO supplies
- Lead cross-functional negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Implement cost-saving initiatives through market analysis and supplier diversification
- Manage supplier performance metrics and conduct regular relationship reviews
- Oversee purchasing budgets and ensure compliance with procurement policies
- Collaborate with logistics to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs
- Drive sustainability initiatives in the supply chain and supplier diversity programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing
- CIPS or CPSM certification required
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing and vendor management
- Advanced negotiation skills with experience in international contracts
- Strong analytical abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Leadership experience managing procurement teams of 5+ professionals
