Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving and efficiency targets.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, from RFP/RFQ development to contract execution and performance tracking.
- Identify, vet, and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure high-quality material consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align purchasing activities with production timelines.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead a team of procurement specialists, providing mentorship and driving continuous improvement in departmental workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CPM certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in contract law, negotiation tactics, and global logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to drive business results.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
