Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to minimize costs and maximize supply chain reliability.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including vendor identification, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends and alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure inventory levels align with production demands and business goals.
- Monitor vendor performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, import/export regulations, and inventory management principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM or CSCP are highly desirable.
