Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust purchasing tactics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to align procurement with production needs.
- Manage vendor performance metrics and conduct regular audits to ensure quality standards.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships.
