Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to minimize costs and maximize supply chain reliability.
- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, vetting, contract negotiation, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production timelines and budget requirements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement advanced inventory management protocols to reduce carrying costs while ensuring stock availability.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful vendor contract negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly preferred.
