Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply chain resilience.
- Lead complex negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial requisition to final delivery and performance review.
- Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, and logistics to align procurement with business goals.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including vendor reliability, quality, and total cost of ownership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
