Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to forecast future procurement needs and budget requirements.
- Oversee supplier performance management, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Mentor and lead the purchasing team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Finance, and Production to align procurement goals with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in industrial purchasing or strategic sourcing.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics software.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing global supply chains and multi-million dollar procurement budgets.
- Deep understanding of inventory management, lean manufacturing principles, and global trade compliance.
