Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize costs and supply chain reliability.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, from RFP generation to final contract execution and performance monitoring.
- Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with key global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Analyze market trends and data metrics to forecast supply needs and identify potential cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to align purchasing efforts with business objectives.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to meet environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) targets.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving significant year-over-year cost savings.
- Comprehensive understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and vendor risk management.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
