Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance assessments.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Finance, Operations) to ensure project specifications are met.
- Drive sustainability and compliance initiatives across the global supplier network.
- Mentor a team of junior buyers and procurement analysts.
- Maintain high standards of inventory control and procurement database integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful high-value contract negotiations.
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP is highly desirable.
