- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and manage costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement workflows and optimize inventory levels.
- Manage and mentor a team of procurement specialists to foster professional development and high performance.
- Audit vendor performance to ensure adherence to compliance, quality, and delivery standards.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing environmentally responsible materials and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in building lasting professional relationships.
