Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply continuity.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ development, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities in the supply base.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to ensure alignment on material specifications and lead times.
- Drive continuous improvement in vendor performance through KPIs and regular performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
- Manage the procurement budget and provide accurate financial forecasting for raw material spending.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and multi-million dollar budget management.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
