Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with company goals to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection and onboarding to contract renewal.
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to advise leadership on inventory levels and purchasing decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain disruptions and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per unit, lead times, and supplier quality scores.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated history of achieving cost reductions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
