Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing and purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, service level agreements, and pricing structures with key vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost standards.
- Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Finance, and Operations, to streamline procurement workflows.
- Oversee the procurement budget, tracking variances and identifying key cost-reduction opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) credential is highly preferred.
- Expert-level negotiation skills with a proven track record of delivering significant cost savings.
- Proficiency in enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities, with experience managing direct reports.
