Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Lead a team of purchasing specialists, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Analyze market trends and inventory levels to forecast demand accurately and prevent stockouts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
