Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain reliability.
- Manage end-to-end contract negotiations with major suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and service level agreements.
- Oversee departmental budgets and procurement forecasting to align with quarterly manufacturing targets.
- Implement data-driven inventory management systems to mitigate supply risks and optimize stock levels.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure 100% compliance with international sourcing regulations, quality standards, and ethical procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings through strategic vendor partnerships.
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced supply chain analytics tools.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-centric approach to decision-making.
